Is my chicken alright to eat?

Last night I put frozen chicken on the countertop to thaw. I forgot to put it back in the fridge before going to bed. It was thawed this morning when I got up and not cold anymore. It is sealed in the original airtight packaging and I need to know if it is still okay to eat. Should I use it or not?
