When did Adolf Hitler really first realise that the Germans were losing the War in WW II?

He didn't realize until the allies were closing in around Berlin. His top ades kept lying to him in fear of what the furer might do for failure! But really he should have known he was finished when he created a two front war with russia and the US, UK etc
