Can I convert from catholicism to judaism? Confused, Please help.?

I'm 23 yr old college kid that decide to start reading the bible. I've never been religious,(I guess God was calling me). I've come to believe I don't agree with with catholicism as it has become corrupt through time, I blame that on greed. According to the bible, is it right and acceptable for me to convert from Catholicism to Judaism. I do believe in Jesus though, and to my understanding, Jewish people don't believe in him. Please help!!
