Can't understand this paragraph?

i suggest you draw a picture of what is described in the paragraph. it is actually pretty easy to understand...i am guessing it is just hard for you to picture it. so, if you were to follow the "instructions" and draw out a visual representation of what is said i believe it would become clearer. try it.
