Honestly, how bad are my PSAT scores?

Yes, that is pretty bad. I mean I scored a 147 when I didn't really try. Don't take a SAT prep cl. I recommend you buy THE OFFICIAL SAT STUDY GUIDE by COLLEGE BOARD for $20 at your local book store. It is what most people use to prepare. The only thing I don't like about that book is that it does not explain the answers. If you need answers explained, I recommend KAPLAN SAT COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM or Barron's SAT. Kaplan has very good practice tests, but Barron even goes over some concepts on the SAT and gives you some lessons to refresh your memory on the math portion.
