My xbox 360 live account wont display the xbox live marketplace.?

When i logged in since the first time i got my xbox 360. It gives me the error code 8b010008 and tells me that some content is unavailable and will reappear when it is. I have already asked xbox support and they said they were aware of the problem and were working to fix it. How that helps me i don't know that's why i am asking the smart users of yahoo for an answer. Please don't say get a new xbox or that they will fix it because i have waited another 2 weeks after they said they would fix it.
